Community members of MURCOTA in their office saving money particularly promoting a culture of saving for the future use, saving and credit scheme is the most vital activity. 

HAND CRAFTS

Muhindi Rwenzori Community Tourism Association is committed to develop the skills of the local people in making pots, basket weaving, and  using their hands and we call upon other individuals or visitors to come and visit murcota. We believe if these members get trained they can do better towards developing their skills and reducing on poverty in their homes.

Members of MURCOTA entertained Edwin and Magda Woloszyn in Muhindi Village during their visit, traditional dance are one of the activities that members of this association committed too promote culture.

Edwin from Australia who visited Muhindi Rwenzori Community Tourism Association (MURCOTA) in 2010 at Muhindi Village and was being taught by one of our guide how community promote culture though people making local baskets using our local materials and it was very interesting to the  community  members .
